A seemingly ordinary village hides dozens of mysterious places waiting to be discovered - hidden waterfalls, rock regiments, viewpoints, and trails.
As the residents say (those with long experience), this neighborhood will never get bored.
To visit the Stranda you need to take two ferries, but it is great fun! Sometimes when you will be watching see from the ferry you can see porpoises or pilot whales! On the ferry, you can also go to the restaurant which is located on the first floor. There you can grab something to eat before coming on trip. The road to Strada takes you about 1 hour by car.
There is a unique winter resort with ski slopes and a gondola. However, in the summer there is also a lot to do here – you can take the gondola and go to the viewpoint on the top (1062 m.) further you can go down or start one of nice trekking around. Finally, you can take a seat in the Fjord Panorama restaurant overlooking on the vast valley and enjoy a regional beer or lunch based on local ingredients.
