A seemingly ordinary village hides dozens of mysterious places waiting to be discovered - hidden waterfalls, rock regiments, viewpoints, and trails.
As the residents say (those with long experience), this neighborhood will never get bored.
Kayaking is a great way to relax on long Norwegian afternoons. The direction is limited only by your imagination. You can go ahead in search of porpoises, otters, eagles, or near a waterfall that can only be admired from the water level. A good trip is also paddling to the other side of the fjord to the village of Linge or further – Valdall. There are many attractions waiting for you there. The water in the fjord is cold even in summer, but on hot days it is great to stay on the shore and cool off in silence and away from the hustle and bustle of tourists.
You never know when the weather will surprise you with such a view.
In the center of the village, there is a shop run by a great man and artist-photographer John Kåre. It is enough to go to the store and ask about the canoes. You can launch your kayaks from the shore right across the street and start your adventure.
Afternoon chill out on calm water.
